We are a Orthodox Christian mission parish in Redding and Shasta County dedicated to the Gospel of Jesus Christ delivered to the Apostles and the Church --- Jesus Christ is Lord! The Apostle Paul writes, "Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ." Orthodox Christianity takes this command of St. Paul seriously. While we live in the modern world, and are attentive to the needs of this world, we remain obedient in love to those who have gone before us - prophets, Apostles, the Fathers of the Church. With one voice, together with the Saints of all ages, the Church of Jesus Christ proclaims the power of the Gospel and the worship of the Holy Trinty, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, One God, in all times and places.
You are invited to join us in the worship of the Holy Trinity and to experience the healing of Almighty God for forgiveness of sins and life everlasting. All are invited and are welcome to join us - from newborns to the very old - no one is excluded from the love of Jesus Christ.
